Wednesday’s notable scores and stat lines from baseball and softball games in the Daily News coverage area.


Harvard-Westlake 3, St. Francis 1: Freshman Tommy Bridges threw a complete game with five strikeouts and allowed just three hits for the Wolverines (9-3, 2-0), who lead this week’s series 2-0 heading into Friday. St. Francis drops to 3-9 on the season.

Notre Dame 5, Alemany 2: Justin Lee threw a complete game with three strikeouts for. Khadim Diaw had two RBIs for the Knights (7-4). Luke Gombos hit a solo HR for Alemany (6-7). Each team has won a game this week. Friday’s third game will be at Alemany.

Chaminade 4, Loyola 2 (8 innings): Sean Youngerman threw three shutout innings for the win. Josh Kopell hit a double that drove in the go-ahead runs. Maddox Latta went 2 for 4 with four stolen bases for Chaminade (7-3, 2-0).


Valencia 10, Golden Valley 0: Matt Chapman earned the win with five innings from the mound, allowing just one hit. Aiden Sandoval went 3 for 3 with four RBIs for Valencia (6-4, 2-0). Golden Valley drops to 1-7, 0-2 in league play.

West Ranch 8, Canyon 0: Scott Bauman earned the win with five strikeouts in five innings. Blake Schroeder had two hits and two RBIs for West Ranch (8-0). Canyon drops to (0-9).


Sierra Canyon 6, Campbell Hall 0: Jaden Noot struckout 12 in six innings, allowing just two hits. Kehden Heittiger had two hits and two RBIs for the Trailblazers (6-2).


Crespi 7, El Camino Real 0: Joseph Blank had two hits and three stolen bases for the Celts (6-3).


Chatsworth 9, Roosevelt 0: Nate Flores earned the win with four strikeouts in six innings. He also had two RBIs in the win. Chatsworth moves to 2-0 under new coach Marcus Alvarado.

Cleveland 12, San Fernando 2 (5 innings): Andrew Howe had six strikeouts in five innings for Cleveland (2-0). Kai Moran went 3 for 4 with a double and triple for three RBIs, and Xavier Acosta went 3 for 3 with three RBIs.


Saugus 15, Canyon 0: Alyssa Ramirez threw a no-hitter with nine 9 strikeouts. Allie Enright hit two home runs with three RBIs fort he Centurions (2-0).

Camarillo 3, El Camino Real 2 (8 innings): Sofia Fisher’s three hits weren’t enough for ECR (4-2). Jillian Kelly pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts in the setback.
