The doctors from the hospital have clarified that Vivekh had a cardiac arrest which was due to a 100 per cent block in the blood vessel. Vivekh is survived by his wife Arulselvi, and two children.

Vivekh had made his debut in 1987 with K Balachander’s Manathil Urudhi Vendum and soon became the most popular comedian in Tamil cinema. The actor has worked with almost all the top superstars down South from Rajinikanth to Suriya, from Vijay to Dhanush and from Ajith to Silambarasan. The actor’s wish was to work with Kamaal Haasan and that too fulfilled when he got a chance to work with him in Indian 2. His last release was Dharala Prabhu, starring Harish Kalyan, in 2020.
