The Voice 2021: Coaches Rita Ora, Keith Urban, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy star in glitzy new trailer

Fans have got their first look at The Voice for 2021 courtesy of a Channel 7 promo featuring a stunning rendition of Justin Timberlake’s global mega-hit ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling!’ – sung by none other than the show’s four new judges, Guy Sebastian, Keith Urban, Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy.

Directed by ARIA Award-winning James Chappell – who has previously worked with both Urban and Sebastian on their own video clips – the extended video, which premiered last night, was shot over two days across six locations.

And no expense was spared.

“I can’t think of a better way to launch a season this big than with a promo so fabulous,” Rita Ora said.

“Everything from the song, my pink Cadillac and the powerhouse location was absolutely breathtaking.

“It takes an army to pull together a shoot like this and the team were so on point.”

Guy Sebastian agreed: “This was the most epic promo I’ve ever been a part of!” he said.

“It was a lot of fun, especially the parts in the lift where I think some of my fellow coaches were about to throw up…

“It was great hanging with my Voice family and also working with James Chappell, who has directed seven music videos for me. He killed it. I can’t wait to see it all come together on television!”

The series, which previously had its home on Nine, promises to shake things up this year, with new twists, four superstar new judges and plenty of new talent.

For Jessica Mauboy, who herself found fame via a reality singing contest back in 2006, it’s a full circle moment. She says filming the promo with the other judges was a dream come true.

“We are used to filming music videos for our solo careers, so being able to stand alongside three other incredible performers and share this moment was surreal,” she said.

“Performing this incredible song with my dear friend Guy and getting to perform with my new Coach family Keith and Rita was beyond.”

The Voice will premiere on the Seven Network after the Olympics.
