Xina Tian Di: Giving royal cravings their due | Lifestyle

There’s a fresh and luxurious vibe at the recently reopened Xin Tian Di at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila. One surmises it must be all the pent-up creative energies of its charming chef Peter Yeung who recently whipped up a sumptuous sneak peek of the old and new dishes on offer at the favorite Chinese restaurant this side of bustling Ortigas business district.

Chef Yeung’s new menu is made to impress even the most discerning Chinese cuisine foodie. There is the signature Wood-Oven Roasted Peking Duck plus new dishes thoughtfully created to indulge patrons raring to go out and enjoy the dining experiences again in this elegant restaurant.

But, of course, with the new year, dishes on the new menu are also meant to bring in some good fortune and prosperity to its diners: Butter Garlic Salted Egg Lobster, Wok-fried Spain Iberico Pork Loin in Chinese vinegar and honey dressing and Steamed Lobster Dumpling with Black Truffle and more.

To cap one’s feast, dessert is a not to be missed affair with new items like Sweet Black and White Sesame Tea with Tongyuen Dumpling and Buchi Surprise. All these are the unique concoctions of chef Yeung, which also makes them the signature desserts of the premier Chinese specialty restaurant.

Best to make reservations, of course. Xin Tian Di: 8790-3100 or email [email protected].
